On this page you will find information related to the drill program at Cerro Chorcha which was announced on June 11, 2007. The information which is referenced and linked below is intended to provide shareholders with a good understanding of how management intends to carry out this drill program, but should not be viewed as a "hard and fast" diagram of the program. Bellhaven's plan, as it relates to the drill program and operations at Cerro Chorcha, are subject to change for any reason that the Management of Bellhaven Copper & Gold deems necessary and appropriate. The goal of the program at Cerro Chorcha is to prove an increase in both the size and grade of the existing inferred resource in order to further establish the projects viability as it relates to eventual production. Dominion Minerals and Bellhaven has established a series of targets based on results obtained through surface sampling, trenching, and previous drill results on the property--the previous drill program's results are reviewed and analyzed at great depth in compliance with NI 43-101 standards in this report. The complete trench and chip sampling results were previously announced. After having developed a new model based on the above mentioned results, Dominion and Bellhaven developed a strategic phase one drill program to explore the potential suggested by the exploration work that has been done on the property. By exposing previously hidden rock faces and implementing a more in-depth trench and surface sampling program than was previously performed. New targets and areas of interest were uncovered. Proposed holes + Copper trenches | Proposed holes + Gold trenches | To date (July 15, 2007) Bellhaven has completed two of the nine planned drill holes of the program which is set to be finished in August of 2007. Below you will find updated information relating to the program which outlines the current status of each proposed hole. | Hole | Status | Depth | Comments | | BH-07 1 | Complete | 240 m | Announced July 30, 2007 | | BH-07 2 | Complete | 278 m | Announced Aug 14, 2007 | | BH-07 3 | Complete | 320 m | Announced Oct 17, 2007 | | BH-07 4 | Complete | 446 m | Lab Results Pending | | BH-07 5 | Complete | 386 m | Lab Results Pending | | BH-07 F | Drilling | 350 m | Samples being shipped | | BH-07 G | Pending | 305 m | Samples being shipped | | BH-07 H | Pending | 270 m | Samples being shipped | | BH-07 I | Pending | 295 m | Samples being shipped |
Information and Images on Released Holes (1) Drill Hole "BH-07 A" is located in the NE section of the target zone and runs in a North Westerly direction. Drill hole "BH-07 B" runs in the opposite direction from the same surface point, and both holes are less than 200 m from a blank hole that defined the Eastern edge of the deposit in the previous 43-101 report. This is significant because good grades could open this side of the deposit increasing the size, grade, and potential of the resource. The image to the left is a picture of a piece of core which came from drill hole "BH-07 A." Natural Copper can be observed.
